The earliest build of the Wii U port was discovered by an unknown user on February 19th, 2025. In this build, it only starts off with 7 songs and only one alternate, with one being for testing purposes only.

Title Screen#

The earliest version of the game title is present, where it uses its original title, Just Dance 5.

The menu had a few differences:

  • It had a slightly different layout.
  • No background music is being played when any of the songs aren't hovered with the cursor.
  • Wiimote navigations are displayed at the top.

Avatars#

For now, there's only one avatar difference in the build, which is the coach of Sympathy For The Devil. It is where it's based on the Just Dance 4 one with colorization unlike in the final game.

Scoring Screen#

There are some differences:

  • The layout is slightly different.
  • Same with the menu, no background music is being played either.
  • The coach selection picture of She Wolf (Falling To Pieces) is used as a placeholder.
  • The "Congratulations!" text is all in caps and lacks an exclamation point.

I Will Survive (On-Stage Version)#

The major difference in the map is that the background has a different stage setting. It first off is set in a far-away view. Secondly, it originally had a massive TV screen showcasing the dancers. Third of all, there is a background in the screen that changes color depending the song's structure.

Weirdly enough, the original On-Stage Mode background appears in the unused album background for the said version of Where Have You Been.
