A demo of Electroplankton was made available at the Nintendo DS Download Station during E3 2005, roughly a month after the game's Japanese release and under eight months before the American release. It is essentially stripped-down, with only the Beatnes interface in Performance mode being playable.
Differences#
- On the title screen, aside from the flashing "DEMO VERSION" text being placed between the title and the copyright stamp, the Beatnes interface's description is displayed on the bottom screen.
- Only the Invincibility theme from Super Mario Bros. can be interacted with; therefore, you cannot swap the song out with the Select button.
