This prototype surfaced via SMS Power! on June 28, 2009, and contains mostly graphical differences.
Graphical Differences#
There's only 3 block designs compared to the final's 5, and they're all different.

Final |
|---|---|
- The first set of blocks had its palette changed and moved to the second set in the final.
- The second set bears some resemblance to the final's third set, but still has several differences compared to it.
- The third set in the prototype does not appear in the final in any capacity.
- In the prototype, each set has the same order of colors.

Menu Differences#
Proto |
Final |
|---|---|
The options are referred to differently here, and the order of VS Play Game and Doubles Game would be switched around. For some reason, the final still tells you to press the start button, despite the Master System not having one.

Final |
|---|---|
Same for the Game Select screen, with the options being made a lot less vague.

Both Options screens have a few differences:
- Options won't loop around when you reach the start or end of them.
- 6 blocks are always shown regardless of the difficulty, however in game the difficulty behaves like the final.
