To do:
Add Kickstarter concept art.

Version 0#

One of the game's developers posted a piece of concept art on Fur Affinity, as follows:

another side project I'm working on along side constory ( yeah yeah i know shut up )

These awful ... no awesome names are from brain storming with
Kahmari
Lennud

A good chunk of the controls I have working so far are here but its really just a tiny tiny preview http://www.stencyl.com/game/play/17398 ( try the Slime cat Super jump! )

This links to a "demo test", or "v0" as the page calls it. This is a proof-of-concept version of the game that appears to have been taken down around the Kickstarter launch and never returned. Unlike the Kickstarter demo, this is presumed to be lost forever.

Its description reads as follows:

Just started playing with Stencyl, a tiny little world with everything I have working so far.

Oh yeah and Arrows to move
Up to jump
Down to duck Z to sprint
X to use!

Kickstarter#

The Kickstarter launched on November 8, 2013 and was poorly executed, to say the least. The worst issue was the fact that there wasn't even a demo until Christmas, several days before the end of the campaign. The trailer showcased a build that was considerably farther along than the demo we have currently, such as the character having a functional grappling attack.

At the same time, the trailer and part of the game's soundtrack was uploaded to their YouTube channel and SoundCloud.

Aerial Minecart Battle

The Kickstarter failed on January 3, 2014, only getting $14,010 of its $70,000 goal (and receiving none of that $14K).

Post-Kickstarter#

The developers promised to return with another Kickstarter, but this never happened. There were signs that the game was still being worked on, as on July 21, 2014 the artist posted this tileset on their blog:

Back on treasure bear working on the underground tiles!

There was never an official announcement of the game's cancellation, and the last mention of the project in 2019 implies that it's no longer in development:

Twitter suck and only lets you post one gif at a time. Some pixel art from an old project
