Issue 1 of Super Play magazine (November 1992) has a preview image of what seems to be the start of Level 5. Some of the stage geometry is different, with a flat pathway from the mushroom to the ladder and a steeper rock ceiling next to the waterfall. There is a fruit at the top of the screen that is missing in the final game.
