Cancelled Versions and Delay#
The game was originally supposed to be released on September 22, 2022. On May 18 of that year, NACON announced that the game's release would be delayed to 2023 ("to make it the most polished gaming experience in the franchise by spending more time on its development") and that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions were cancelled ("with the aim of making the most of the technology in the latest consoles and maximising the overall quality of the game").
However, two trailers (Head to Head and Welcome to Hong Kong Island) mentioned their consoles and date.
