Trailer#
Watch on YouTubeOn April 29, 2013, Robert Topala uploaded a video of an early version of Geometry Dash, then titled Geometry Jump. The name was changed at Apple's request, as revealed in a Reddit AMA. It showcases a level that uses the song "Ultimate Destruction" by TMM43. The level would go unused in the final game as RobTop only made it for testing purposes and did not get permission to use the song in-game, though sections of the level would be repurposed for the level "Base After Base". In the video, the level's name is actually misspelled as "Ultiate Destruction"
The very first frame of the video though not shown well, also displays an early-level selection HUD, much simpler than the final version. the gameplay showed that the ground was shown even more. which is different in the final game. The background color seen here is the same one used in the vaults.
