Counter-Strike: Source

This article has a talk page!
view on tcrf.net

This page details pre-release information and/or media for Counter-Strike: Source.

Careful, you'll lose an eye.

This page or section needs more images.
There's a whole lotta words here, but not enough pictures. Please fix this.
Specifically:
1. Upload images of the map concepts.
2. Find/Recover .jpg and .gif files from this site. It was created simultaneously with the https://web.archive.org/web/20050524025747/http://www.steampowered.com/Steam/Marketing/May12.2005/?l=english announcement of the May 13, 2005 update and was intended to show the evolution of de_inferno's development.

Counter-Strike: Source has a fair bit of prerelease media floating around.

E3 2004 Trailer#

A trailer for the game, released on E3 2004. It's got some differences from the final game:

  • The Desert Eagle uses a different texture.
  • The arms use a different texture, with them being much more pale than the final's arms.
  • The AK-47 uses a different texture.
  • The trailer shows the original Terrorist and Counter-Terrorist playermodels.
  • The C4 has a slightly different animation for putting the bomb down.
