Shrek 2 Soundtrack#

Two of the game's 16 songs come from the Shrek 2 soundtrack:

• The unused "Family Dinner Waltz" song
• The "Cure the Dragon" level uses a remix of "The Muffin Man"

Musical Plagiarism#

As noted on the main page, the soundtrack contains blatant plagiarism of tracks from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, though it's not the only game to suffer this. Below are some examples among the used tracks.

Lost in the Haunted Forest#

Both Part 1 and Part 2 use bits of the Lost Woods tune.

Potion Minigame#

Uses bits from the music used for houses in OOT.

Pinocchio's Mission Minigame#

Uses bits of the Kokiri Forest music.

Catch That Cat#

Uses part of the first battle theme from SaGa Frontier.

Intro#

Uses bits of the underwater theme from Super Mario Bros., just with way less instruments.

Ending#

Uses part of the carnival theme from Dark Seed II.
