This page details development materials of Titenic.
While none of Titenic's developers are known to have spoken publicly about the game's development, certain aspects of its production can be gleaned from simple observation.
Enemy Origins#
For example, as mentioned in the main page, all but one of this game's human enemies use downscaled and edited sprites from The Mask, and at least one other enemy uses downscaled sprites from Earthworm Jim.

The Mask |
Most of his sprites are from Dorian Tyrel, the final boss of The Mask, though his intro animation and jumping and running sprites are taken from Stanley/The Mask, and edited to resemble his other sprites. |

Unknown (fish) |
Earthworm Jim |
The fish that Chuck, the boss of New Junk City, belches out. Specifically, it's based on their sprites from the Genesis version and Special Edition, as the SNES version gives them slightly different sprites which don't match the Titenic fish. Notably, the fish's sprites in Hummer Team's Earthworm Jim 3 are very similar, but they appear to have been entirely redrawn (or, perhaps more likely, re-traced from the original sprites) between games. |
