This is a sub-page of Development:Taz: Wanted.

Note: Must stitch the two discs to make a gigabyte worth of data. The source here is not from the final build, but from a prototype dated April 19, 2001.

Rooms

An assortment of unused rooms exist in the prototype.

Test#

A test room. This is also found in the final game, and was one of the earliest rooms created, being regularily updated.

Cdc_9peo.jpg

A unknown cryptic texture of "nine people". Might be an inside joke by the developers.

PROTOARENA#

A room dated June 21st, 2000. This area doesn't exist in the final game, likely a leftover from early in development.

testslide#

A room dated June 22nd, 2000. This is another test room. Doesn't exist in the final game, likely a leftover from early in development.

Slide#

A room dated July 20th, 2000. This is another test room. Doesn't exist in the final game, likely a leftover from early in development.

C++ Scripts

tony.ms#

A script related to rollouts for special types. This appears to be named after Tony Povey, a developer of this game. However, you can change it to the C++ file format.

Batch Files

new.bat#

Calls a filepath when opened. The filepath is named v:\teamphoenix\taz\cd\newversion.bat. It also calls a nonexistent batch file called newversion.bat.

newexe.bat#

Copies a filepath. This was used for generating a new version of the game executable.
