To do: Document other revisions of the port. Development appears to have started with r446; the latest revision where the TestMode was changed seems to be r1089, and the last point where it's buildable seems to be r1098 (before the project started to be restructured for B&W development.) The port could have changed in the multiboot copy of the tech demo present from r1595 to r1609 as well; though at that point, it's not necessarily buildable as is.

The Nintendo DS port was part of the "Game Freak Libraries TestMode" tech demo present in early revisions of Pokémon Black and White‍ '​s source repository, accessible by selecting "そがべ　ひさし　　Hisashi Sogabe" -> "ヨッシーのたまご" in the menu (the second-level menu only exists in later versions). Before and after the prebuilt ROM, the game received some small changes, before the entire tech demo was gutted from the repo after r1103.

A very different and longer version of the underwater stage music was introduced in r783, before being replaced with the version as heard in the prebuilt ROM in r793, then changed back in r968.
