Several cut music tracks by the game's composer Matt Black were given to and released by user AsteroidBK on November 19th, 2021.

Unused Music#

mu GP explore#

This song is most likely an experimental song for seeing how interactive music could have worked in Revenge of the Giant Plankton Monster.

mu GP minigame#

Most of this song is used in the intro cutscene for Super-Sized Patty, and a bit of it is used in the Turret cutscene for Revenge of the Giant Plankton Monster, as well as the level's music being a remix of this track, but it is not heard anywhere by itself, and the full version is not heard anywhere. Judging by its name, this song's original use was probably for the "Wakey Wakey, Shakey Shakey" minigame. (The full version is used in SpongeBob's Atlantis SquarePantis, but with ambience baked in.)

Pop Hero Sample 1#

The first 11 seconds of this song are used as the first loading screen song for Rooftop Rumble, and the end is used at the end of the intro cutscene when Mermaid Man appears, but the full version is unused. (It is, however, mostly used in Spongebob's Surf & Skate Roadtrip and the GBA/NDS versions as a remix for Starfishman to the Rescue.)

Pop Hero Sample 2#

The first part of this song is used for the second and third loading screens for Starfishman to the Rescue, and the first 11 seconds were used for the second loading screen for Rooftop Rumble, but the full version is unused.

Pop Hero Sample 3#

A completely unused track that, judging by its name, was most likely meant to be used as a third loading screen song for Rooftop Rumble.

mu level7 explore#

This song is most likely an experimental song for seeing how interactive music could have worked in It Came from Bikini Bottom. A snippet of it is used in the outro cutscene of Revenge of the Giant Plankton Monster when the Giant Patty latches onto SpongeBob's plane.

0 1 mu HH#

This song is an experimental song for seeing how interactive music could have worked in Hypnotic Highway. This is supported by the fact that all the songs that had interactivity were labeled as 0_0, 0_1, and 0_2, and Hypnotic Highway follows the same naming scheme (despite not having any interactivity.)
