This soundtrack was made by Jim Nguyen for DD in 2012-2013. Then Brentalfloss came and composed a new OST for the game. Note: Every song made by Brentalfloss was used.
HQ versions of the Beta OST#
Every song has its own High-Quality version made, except the LevSel song. Also, every Beta Song has its own name!
Draft music#
These songs were placeholder for other songs, then Brentalfloss remade them in 2014-2015
08_Stage_Forest#
Early version of the Forest Light theme, and like a Beta song of DD, it's just an almost seamless loop song. Like the final OST this song had some Jazz-like tunes on it.
Fight/s_firstboss#
Early version of The Cupcake King theme. This one was partially unused because it was seen in 1.85.1 for the early boss fight. Like the final OST this song is heavy and metal-ish.
09_Stage_Castle#
Probably intended for a level based in Ruby's (the princess) castle. This song doesn't have any final OST counterpart.
06_BossIntros (darkwater)#
Probably intended for the cutscenes before a boss fight. The final OST counterparts of this song may be Evil Plans are Brewing and Fighting Spirit, but they're so different to this song.
Early Hills Theme#
Draft version for hills theme, a 37 second loop that sounds like a mixture of Beta and Final OST. Unlike the final OST version, this one has no solo and the intro is looped. This can be heard on this video of the version 1.87.0
