A little startup company from Newton, Massachusetts who became known for the Virtual Guitar, a plastic guitar controller for computers which used patented "Virtual Music" technology to play tunes, and which came bundled with one of the earliest examples of a rhythm game, Welcome to West Feedback.
The apparent success of the guitar led to the company renaming themselves after their technology and moving to Andover the following year.
