Alone in the Dark series

The granddaddy of all survival horror games, where a private investigator has to survive a town or building occupied by the undead. The series has gone through a pretty rough journey throughout the years, such as getting semi-rebooted in 2008 and getting an extremely bad co-op game in the mid 2010s, but it appears to have bounced back with a retelling of the first game released in 2024.
