Programming Error#
Due to an error (a BNE operation instead of a BEQ operation), you actually start the game with the power of the Pendant from the Tower of Suffer turned on. When you collect the Pendant, it toggles this power off, making it 25% harder (1-2 more strikes) to defeat your enemies with melee.
