Valtric

Valtric is an interesting shoot 'em up that removes the autoscrolling associated with the genre and adds a (limited) jumping feature.

Hidden Message#

One rather goofy message can be found in the main CPU at 0x16E70:

Turns out it ends on a cliffhanger.

Unused Graphics#

ValtricKanjiSmall.png ValtricKanjiLarge.png

These Kanji tiles, found in the background and font graphics ROMs respectively, translate to "Yamaguchi" and "Origami", the surnames of the game's tile artists.

ValtricNMKLogo.png

This NMK logo should have been put on the title screen, but nope. There's just a big Jaleco logo taking up real estate.
