Unused Graphics#
Loaded with the gameplay HUD graphics are sprites for the word "TIME". It was likely meant to be displayed above the in-game timer on the bottom left corner of the screen, but never does.

Regional Differences#
At least four different versions of the game are known to exist:
- The Japanese release, titled AV Soccer, and geared towards the adult market.
- The Brazilian release, simply titled Futebol (Soccer), which removes the pornographic elements and changes the leagues/countries to teams from that country.
- The American release, titled Ultimate League Soccer, which, like the Brazilian release, removes the pornographic elements but does several changes of its own.
- The European release, which is, for the most part, based on the American one. This version also appears to have been distributed in Australia.

- While not visible here, the Japanese, Brazilian, and American relases have scrolling background elements, in the order of: the film reel → the film reel and above it → the film reel and below it. This scrolling was removed in the European release.
- The Brazilian release does a few tweaks in the left player's left arm sleeve, as well as both of his hands and hair, though this causes a miscoloration in the former area. Shading was also added to the right player's shirt.
- The American release does even more tweaks to the player graphics. In the left player, his right arm, both of his hands, as well as his left leg and shoes, were changed, while the right player has had his left arm modified, as well as a few tiles deleted in his hair and right leg.
- The American release also tweaked the tiles for the "SOCCER" portion of the logo.

- The Japanese release has a few tile errors in this screen, most notably a completely different ball graphic being used near the "World Cup" icon, an incorrect set of tiles being used in another ball towards the left side of the screen, and a ball being missing in the bottom right corner. The other releases have had different approaches to fixing this:
- The Brazilian release changes the different ball graphic on the top left to match the others, fixes the incorrect tiles, and adds a ball on the bottom right corner.
- The American release fixes the incorrect tiles and removes the different ball graphic, but doesn't add a ball on the bottom right corner.
- The European release does the same fixes as the Brazilian release.
- The European release changes the "CPU vs CPU" mode, in which the game plays itself, to a co-op mode, in which both players work together against the computer opponent.
- The icons for the "World Cup" and "Olympics" modes were changed in the American and European releases, likely to avoid copyright infringement.
- The fonts for the menus were redrawn in the Brazilian release. The American and European releases use the Japanese font, but the "3" and the "Y" had the bars underneath them made thicker.

- Each of the available teams are different between releases. While the other versions are based on world countries, the Brazilian release instead uses local teams, which have bigger icons than other releases. The stats that are displayed are also different.

- In the Japanese release, all flags with the color red use a slightly pinker hue, which was corrected in the American and European releases.
- The German flag in the European release uses a wrong palette in the team selection screen, though this is corrected in the total results screen.

- In the Japanese release, each team is associated with a kit color, as follows:

- The Brazilian, American, and European releases, instead, have an additional screen which allows the players to choose the colors of their players' kits, which are limited to white, green, gray (referred to as black in the Brazilian release) and red. Furthermore, the players in the former two kits, barring goalkeepers, have darker skin.

- The computer AI is much worse in the European version of the game, frequently only moving diagonally and kicking the ball in a single direction, should it have possession, until the player obtains a throw-in.
Results#
- Like with the menus, the score font was changed in the Brazilian release, though a few leftovers from the old font can still be found.

- Half of the flags are displayed incorrectly in this screen in the European release:
- The Swedish flag uses an incorrect palette, making it resemble the flag of Finland instead.
- The CIS flag displays the sun from the Argentine flag.
- The leftmost side of the Dutch flag uses an incorrect palette, taken from the Italian flag.
- The Scottish flag uses the palette from the Brazilian flag, as well as the blue disc from it.

- The Japanese release, being an AV game, presents the player with gravure images/hentai should they win a match. This was replaced in the other releases with two different ending sequences in both the World Cup and Olympic modes, which appear when winning all matches. This latter screen is slightly different between the Brazilian and American/European releases, with the latter giving the players medals. Furthermore, stripes were (re?)added to the rightmost player's shirt, a small segment of hair from the centermost player was cut off, a background tile near the edges of the screen was slightly modified, and the bars supporting the flags were removed.
