This is a sub-page of The Sims: Bustin' Out (GameCube, PlayStation 2, Xbox)/Unused Text.
A handful of those strings point to earlier scenarios or scrapped elements. Almost none of them have Translation Notes, but many of them were translated into other languages. Some strings are marked with "##" at the beginning and the end, suggesting they were tagged for revisional purposes. Most of the earlier strings are also marked as "$Object" rather than "$NameLocal:3". For the sake of repetition, the identical strings bearing aforementioned symbols won't be covered unless stated otherwise.
In common, those scripts have unused messages for secondary playable Sims refusing to clean up messes or repair objects, much like in previous game where Mimi and Dudley Landgraab refuses to do those actions in Get a Life mode. They were possibly cut at the last minute due to having finalized equivalents.
Over a dozen of those early strings are more edgy and profane for a Sims game, which would be mostly toned down in the final. Oddly, some of those early strings were used as the basis for some other language translations, mostly being the Japanese version.
