The Mansion of Innsmouth

To do:
Unused music and sounds.

The Mansion of Innsmouth is a unique arcade-style survival horror game based loosely on the writings of H.P. Lovecraft, tragically stuck as a Virtual Boy game.

A US version was to be published by Acclaim, though this ended up being scrapped; a localization build surfaced in December 2004 in a public bankruptcy auction in Ohio for Acclaim's assets. The Japanese version was re-released internationally through the Nintendo Classics library for the Nintendo Switch Online service.

Unused Graphics#

To do:
There's a Nintendo logo located near the end of the ROM that seems to be unused as well.

An animation of a monkey, located near the end of the ROM.

A map icon for monsters, located with the rest of the map screen graphics.

Entering DEMO as a password brings you to the stage from the game's intro. It doesn't appear on the path screen, doesn't have a title graphic, and causes an immediate Time Over.
