The Berenstain Bears' Camping Adventure (Genesis)

This page contains no introduction.
What makes this game notable or what is it about? Are you a bad enough dude to save this article?

To do:
https://www.mediafire.com/folder/9tyxrdste3dx1/Stain I found a bunch of Prototypes on a ROMset from Internet Archive.

Spooky Eye

A peculiar, spooky eye that has no known purpose. Possibly could have been used for the intro, ending, or game over sequences. Its appearance changes depending on its sub-ID (00 or 01).

Unused Subtypes#

Name

Description

Bat

02: A variant of the bats in Cave Adventure and Haunted Forest that will dive bomb the player when they approach. This variant was used in the March 23 and April 28 prototypes.

Spider Boss

00: An unused variation of the spider boss from Cave Adventure. It rapidly moves back and forth along the ground, pauses to fire three web projectiles at an upward angle, then jumps twice towards the player's direction before repeating its pattern. It takes three hits to defeat.
To view it in game, use the Pro Action Replay (PAR) code 0DD0A4:5A00 and it will replace the second mountain lion in Nature Walk's boss level.

Unused Graphics#

To do:
Are there unused graphics that are not referenced anywhere in the ROM?

Brother Bear and Sister Bear#

Sprite

Frame ID

Description

12

A crouching sprite for Sister Bear that looks similar to that of Brother Bear’s. Sister Bear uses the same sprite for both crouching and preparing a jump, rendering this sprite unused. This sprite would see use in the Game Gear version.
This sprite can be enabled using Pro Action Replay (PAR) code 016CD4:1200.

16 (Sister Bear)
17 (Brother Bear)

While both of these sprites are actually used in the game, they only appear for a single frame when jumping off of the slides in Cave Adventure and Honey Hunting.

19 (Brother Bear)

Sprites of Brother Bear and Sister Bear sliding on the ground. These sprites were used in the March 23 prototype when stopping over the puddles in Cave Adventure (although Sister Bear's sprite goes unused and instead uses the second frame of her walking animation).

Sprites of Brother Bear and Sister Bear falling after bouncing from a spring. These sprites were used in the April 28 prototype right before landing on the ground.
