Tecmo Knight is a side-scrolling beat-'em-up where players ride giant beasts and punch other monsters' heads off. A challenging game with tons of gore, it is also one of Tecmo's few non-sports games where they decided to shove "Tecmo" into the title (see also Tecmo Secret of the Stars and Tecmo's Deception) because "Hey, it worked for Tecmo Bowl."

These images of people being slaughtered in the attract sequence are not shown in full detail, instead being displayed as black silhouettes on a red background.

Unused Music#

The last note of the Game Over/No Future! theme is always cut in-game.

Regional Differences#

There are three known sets in MAME: the Japanese set (wildfangs), the US set (tknight) and a multiregional set (wildfang, known as World in MAME) where you can change the game's title through DIP Switches.
