Sunset Riders (SNES)

Sunset Riders for the SNES is a very faithful port of the arcade version. Set in the Wild West, play as one of four bounty hunters as you shoot down convicts, outlaws, and the occasional money-grubber.

Stage Select and Sound Test#

At the character select screen, press shoulder buttons L, L, L, L, L, R, R, R, R, R, then select your character. This sets non-zero value $01 to 7E0C1E, which then sets menu index $0014 in 7E0032.

Unused Stage Select#

An unused menu with only a stage select option. This is menu index $000E in 7E0032.

Extra Lives and Continues#

When 1PLAYER, 2PLAYERS, OPTION is displayed on the title screen, press R, L, R, L, R, L, A, R, L, R, L, R, L, Y. Now enter options. This sets memory address 7E1FA0 to $01.

You can now select up to 5 REST and 5 CONTINUE for any difficulty mode. Normally, HARD is limited to 3 each, and NORMAL 4 each.
