Error Messages#
Anti-Piracy#
At bootup, the game will attempt to write to SRAM at $700000 and if the write was successful, the game will display the above message. An official cartridge contains no SRAM, so this write will do nothing but cartridge copiers always have SRAM present.

Region Error#
Attempting to play the game on a PAL console will display the above message on boot.

Bad Controller#
If the game detects that it has an invalid controller configuration, either by having anything but a Gamepad connected to controller port 1 or having a non-Gamepad device connected to a Multitap controller, the game will jumpscare you with either of these two messages depending on what caused the invalid configuration. Contrary to what these screens say, the game will automatically restart to the title screen (or the Jaleco logo if done on bootup) upon changing to a valid controller configuration.
