The situation is especially aggravating for you, a dealer in valuables, because you're loaded up with Earth art treasures meant for sale on Alpha Centauri, and you really had your heart set on getting there this afternoon.
Although... your freighter, the Space Gypsy, does have a multimodal weapons system installed. Can fending off the occasional pirate be all that different from carving a path through an interstellar warfleet?
