Saibara Rieko no Mahjong Hourouki

What makes this game notable or what is it about? Are you a bad enough dude to save this article?

Anti-Piracy#

The game checks to ensure there is exactly 2KB of SRAM after each player selects a Mahjong tile to determine the order of play by writing two bytes at $307600. On an original cartridge, address mirroring will allow this check to pass. If this check fails, the game jumps to an infinite loop and thus hangs, preventing the player from making any further progress.

Developer Message#

A rather vulgar message can be viewed inside the ROM at 0x1EFAF. This is also written to the SRAM.
