RodLand (NES)

Credits Screen#

A known Easter egg in the European version is the credits screen, which can be accessed by pressing Right at the starting "STORM" logo screen. What's not as well known is that the same credits can be accessed at any cutscene. It's also done by pressing Right after the message at the current cutscene is displayed and the program is paused before the next cutscene screen and waiting for the input to skip it. This occurs because the input waiting routine is the same for the logo and for the cutscene waiting screens.

The Japanese version, however, has no starting logo and the cutscene input logic is changed, but the credits are still there. You can re-enable them using Game Genie codes AANANVGS XLNEEVUK and see them at any cutscene with the method described above for the European version. The only difference between both credits screens is in the "MORE/GAME" message at the top or bottom of the screens. The credits themselves are the same.
