Hidden String#
The main executable has this string hidden at 0x11BCE on DOS, and near the beginning of the DATA resource on Mac:
WELCOME TO THE DATA SEGMENT. (Julia Roberts is a hot babe!)
Mac OS Dialogs#
ALRT 5000 was a placeholder for an about box.
DLOG 8000 was used to place Rex in arbitrary locations.
HAPPY.REX#
|
|
This needs some investigation. |
After loading the CONFIG.REX file, the DOS version's main menu loads the file HAPPY.REX for an unknown reason. This is a text file with the following text:
My name is Rex. I am a happy little game.
