Power Blade 2 was developed specifically for the U.S. market, and thus, when it was released in Japan, rather than going through the trouble of converting it into a sequel to Power Blazer (the Famicom counterpart to the first Power Blade), they just changed the title to Captain Saver and left the rest of the game as is. The Japanese title screen has a much bigger logotype and menu text, while lacking the visual of the protagonist Nova.
