Pou is a virtual pet mobile game developed and published by Zakeh in which the player must take care of an alien with the same name. The character is commonly mistaken as a poop. 13 years later, Zakeh made a sequel to the game that is in 3D called Pou 3D.

Unused Phones#
The phone graphic that appears when outside the house has a pink variant at assets\images\phones\100 in the Android version and Pou.app\images\phones\100 in the iOS version, called pink.png. It is notably one of two universal colors that are missing from the phone shop, the other being gray. 
Unused Wheels#
There is an unused spiral wheel design in \assets\images\cars\wheels in the Android version and Pou.app\images\cars\wheels in the iOS version, called 301.png. It is similar to the spiral sticker that can be applied to Pou's face.

Mirror#
There is a sprite of a mirror in assets\images\mirrors in the Android version and Pou.app\images\mirrors in the iOS version, named long_simple_darkgrey.png. Given its resemblance to the icons that show up on the lower left corners of the screen, this might have been an icon that could have been used in the bedroom before the closet was chosen. 
This was later repurposed on Pou 3D as a decoration on the Bathroom.
Unused Terrain#
An unused sprite of a terrain with a black color in the minigame "Hill Drive". This suggests that there is possibly a "mountain" terrain in newer updates. It was named 4.png. 
Toyze Icons#
There is an unused icon of Pou toys from a now discontinued toy service brand, Toyze, which was a company that sold customized toys figurines to mobile game characters like Cut the Rope, Talking Tom & Friends, The Tribez, and plus even Pou. It can be found in the old version of the merchandise (which used to be a category at that time) in the shop on old versions of the app which was called "Figurines".
In 2015, the service was shutdown, leaving the Toyze icons now unused in the files. 
Name/Rename Pou#
There used to be a feature where the player can name or rename their Pou. It was removed due to the addition of account creation in version 1.1.2. However, the button sprites still remain in the game's files.
Old Settings (Pou Level) Icon#
The old settings button is a gear with a star. It was replaced by a white Pou. 
Old Car Button#
The old car button is a red car with white text. It was replaced with a yellow button with black text in newer updates. 
Old Terrain Button#
The old terrain button is a mud with white text. It was replaced with an orange button with black text in newer updates. 
Unused Sounds#
There is an unused sound at res\ in the Android version and Pou.app\ in the iOS version, called Gv.ogg and fall.wav in each version respectively. It is an eerie-sounding arpeggio produced by a string instrument. In previous Android builds, it was known as fall.ogg and was located in res\raw. It was supposed to be used when Pou fell in Sky Jump, but the game abruptly cuts to the Game Over screen when this happens, rendering it unused.
This was a reused sound from a now deleted game by the same developers of Pou, Persian Maze. It was used when the player falls into a pithole in-game.

The spanish translation of gold color is "oro". It was later fixed to "dorado" because the old one is referring to the gold object than the color itself.
Baby Pou Differences#
In older versions of the game, when Pou is rubbed or fed when it is in baby form, its mouth is larger than usual. If Pou is full, Pou's voice was pitch of adult Pous.
