NebulasRay

This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

To do:
Document the prototype.

Seen by many as a carbon copy of Taito's RayForce (even though they're only a month apart), NebulasRay is a pretty good shooter with some rather impressive pre-rendered graphics for the time. It remained stuck in the arcades until May 15th, 2025 when it was given an official home release via the Arcade Archives series.

Hidden Developer Credits#

A set of developer credits can be found towards the top of the program written in ASCII. While a staff credit roll is present at the end of the game, unlike this one it uses only nicknames (a common thing for Japanese video games). Due to its placement in the game's code, it was likely added towards the end of development shortly after the end credits were completed.
