Mummy: Tomb of the Pharaoh is a point-and-click adventure featuring Malcolm McDowell in a starring role as the antagonist.

Unused Graphics and Audio#

Present on the CD is a folder called CONTENT which contains every pre-rendered scene graphic and audio in the game, organized by 3-letter location sub-folders. There are a handful of locations which have visuals not used in the final game, or revised to what appears in the final game.

DVT (Davenport Trailer)#

At one point you were able to click on the letter on the desk, revealing a slip of paper inside. This may have been another note about the crystal buyer's arrangements, which is found in Davenport's Office in the final game.

The book on his bed used to show as Machiavelli's The Prince, but in the final game the book is blank.

There is a pre-rendered graphic of the back part of the trailer showing the bathroom and shower, with an object on the floor. In the final game, none of the four trailers have access to this area.

"Oh right...it's broken."

It's not clear what was broken.

URT (Your Trailer)#

Like the other trailers, the kitchen/bathroom space was once accessible; for Cameron's trailer this was both during the night and day. There is an also-unused bed trap here.

In the final game you wake up to candles and a note from "a friend". The unused trap seems to feature a dagger-like object suspended from a rope over your body.

INF (Infirmary)#

Jerry Segal's body was originally to be placed in the back right infirmary cot, before being moved to its final location in the left center cot. This means that you could once access the rear area of the Infirmary.

In the nook on the west wall was a map of underground waterways, which is not present anywhere in the final game. The Luger was also once found in the drawer with the switch, before being moved next to the dead German in the collapsed cave.
