The octopus has three alternate palettes that aren't called anywhere. These palettes are exclusive to the player object; they can't be used by enemy objects. Mysterious.

The hearts that appear after meeting the yellow octopus have four frames of animation, but only three are used.
An unused level obstacle. It's a clam or something. No graphics in the ROM for an open clam, though.
