Mad Stalker: Full Metal Force (TurboGrafx-CD)

An excellent port of the X68000 original based on the FM Towns version. This port expand the game's story with very long (and dull) cutscenes plus featuring voice acting, but includes benefits like three playable characters (as opposed to one), the ability to continue in the same spot, but at the cost of three continues and an arranged soundtrack.

It's also the fourth title of the Arcade CD-ROM² library, which requires the powerful Arcade Card.

Level Select#

In the options menu, set the Level to Hard, SE to 07, and BGM to 13, then highlight Level and press I. The level select also includes toggles to adjust the sound effect volume and make the bosses playable in VS mode.

This game requires the Arcade Card to run

The game requires the Arcade Card (Duo or Pro, depending on the PC Engine model) to run. If you try to play the game without it (e.g. using a PC Engine Duo without an Arcade Card Duo inserted or using older system cards in an original CD-ROM² system, like the Super System Card 3.0), the game will start with the same screen used for loadings with a white scrolling text in the bottom that says the game requires the Arcade Card to run.
