To do:
Some of the voice lines here are used, but have subtitles that are never displayed. Additionally, a number of minigame strings loaded into memory while on a given Island go unused due to their respective levels not surviving into this port.
Note that most of the game forces text to be displayed in all caps, regardless of how the original string was typed.

The North American version displays "EGO Island" in the Information Center Database due to a missing space before the string. It also lacks the proper capitalisation of "LEGO" that is found elsewhere. This was fixed in the European version. |

Bill Ding always starts with the foundations. |
Bill Ding was cut from this version, so does not show up while Pepper's house is being built. |
Ha ha! Brick by brick, and a house begins to form. |
A few home comforts for Pepper, as a home would just be a house without them. |
Ha ha, little one! You're just another brick in the wall. |
Hey Pepper - you'll have a home in no time. Ground floor almost complete! |
I love this job! Building things for the LEGO Islanders is so satisfying. |
Lovely! A roof overhead to keep the rain off, and a nice bedroom for sleeping in, of course. |
Attention to detail is my middle name. Actually it isn't. |
Anyway you now have a bed to sleep in, Pepper, so much more comfortable than the floor. |
Bill Ding has almost finished building, just the top floor roof and then we're finished here. |
Finished, and that's why they call me Bill Ding! |
Watch dis! |
An unused line before the Brickster prepares his Patented Brickster Dragon Breath. |
Shhhhhhhhhhhhh! |
An unused line for the Brickster placed just before the Infomaniac's snoring. |
Hooray, good find! |
Collecting pages does not cause any dialogue to play in this version, and since Bill Ding was cut from it, the lines mentioning him would have not made sense. |
Paging Bill Ding. |
We have located a page, over. |
We're doing it now, Pepper, dude. |
Yesssiree, Pepper Roni. |
Aha! |
A page is found. |
Yes, got it! |
Too cool. |
Good job, if I say so myself. |
Finders keepers! |
Paging Bill Ding for Building! |
Yessssssss! |
These lines were going to play when there was more to collecting the Brickster-Bots for the first time. |

Nice try, Pepper. |
Missed. |
Ha, ha, ha! |
Aha, this is no red herring. |
This Brickster-Bot will provide the phase-adjusted power supply for all the additions I want for the mainframe. |
Good, Papa looks much happier without his Brick-Bot shadows. |
Quick, Pepper! Don't let the red one get away - I suspect it would be very useful for the mainframe. |
Nice work Pepper, I can make a holo projector booster out of this Brick-Bot. |
And that will allow me to communicate with you anywhere you happen to be. |
Oh, this will be useful, Pepper! That Brick-Bot can detect the Constructopedia pages no matter how far away they are. |
Superb, Pepper - you rescued DJ from the clutches of the Brickster-Bots. |
Get the Green Bot, Pepper - it's very important. |
Well done, Pepper, in stopping the mellow yellow Brick-Bot. |
It looks like I can use it to keep track of you - very handy if you have to leave the island. |
Well done Pepper, you've rescued Dr Clickitt. Now click on the Brick-Bot's head. |
Good shooting, Pepper! But watch out for the other one - it knows you're around, and might be a bit more sneaky. |
Use the sauce, Pepper - let go. |
Oh, you got the last Brick-Bot! And just in time - I don't think Darren could have lasted much longer. |
Pepper, your Pizza flinging has given me a great idea for a flying toy, a plastic disk. |
And it would be a little less messy then tomato and cheese. |
Keeping busy, huh Pepper? |
The lines for Footballer 1, who was cut from this version. |

Pepper's pizza makes me dribble. |
The lines for Footballer 2, who was cut from this version. |
Save a pizza for me, Pepper! |
The lines for Footballer 3, who was cut from this version. |
Better not stop! I think someone's waiting for that pizza. |
That pizza ain't mine! Better take it to the right person. |
You need to pass that pizza on correctly. |
Hi Pepper! Too busy for a kickabout? |
Anything doing, Pepper? |
Long time no see. |
Hear your house is seriously cool! |
Now Bill Ding's finished your house, I wonder if he will do us a stadium? |
Hey Pepper, I think I kicked the ball into your garden. |
What brings you out here, Pepper? |
Lovely weather today. |
He shoots, he scores! Yaaaaay! |
Oh hi, Pepper! |
The Pizzeria is over there. |
Perfect time for a pizza, and I think someone's waiting for theirs. |
It's a longshot but I think you need to be at the Pizzeria. |
Taking the scenic route, Pepper? |
Every time I commit a foul, Pepper's watching. |
Poor Pepper, always delivering pizza. |
Get that pizza to the jail before it goes cold! |
Stop watching me, Pepper, and get down to the jail! |
We didn't order, so that pizza must be for the jail! |
Pepper, be careful. |
We may not look like we care but Pepper, we do. So be careful! |
I don't like this minimalist Island style. |
Don't rip any of the pages, dude! |
We haven't seen any of the pages here. |
So get those pages back ASAP! |
Never fear, Pepper is here. |
A Pepper in time saves nine. |
You cleared those pages up real quick. |
Protect us from the Brickster-Bots. |
That's not quite right as there's ten Brickster-Bots. |
Now there's just the Brickster-Bots left, and one has my ball! |
Pepper's here to save the day! |
Pepper's a regular little hero! |
Pepper beats the Brickster-Bots ten nil. |
Though you need to be at the Information Centre to save the day. |
And heroics are required at the Information Centre right now. |
The Infomaniac's at the Information Centre waiting for extra time. |
Hi Pepper, guess there's more to do. |
Hey Pepper, when do you get to relax? |
You can join our team anytime, Pepper. |
At the Res-Q HQ! |
Probably not for a long time, as the Res-Q HQ is calling. |
But the Res-Q team needs you right now at the Res-Q HQ! |
Almost back to normal, Pepper. |
Pizza man, Pizza man, can do anything a pizza can. |
Fancy a game sometime, Pepper? |
Nick needs you at the Police Station. |
You need to deliver yourself to the Police Station. |
After you've seen Nick at the Police Station. |
Pepper defending us well again. |
Over here Pepper, on my head! |
Looking good, Pepper. |
The Radio Station's the place to be. |
Now get yourself over to the Radio Station. |
And, to sound good, visit the Radio Station for sounds. |
Groovy tunes, Pepper. |
Cool dancing buddies there, Pepper. |
Do you do requests, Pepper? |
Nick wants to you to groove down at the Police Station. |
They need to go to the Police Station to be dealt with. |
I request you take them down to the Police Station. |
Have they finished with you yet, Pepper? |
Are you getting enough exercise, Pepper? |
Good to see you Pepper, pop over again sometime. |
No, they only want to fire you into space at the Space Port. |
You need to be fit if the Space Port wants to train you as an astronaut. |
After you've done whatever it is the Space Port wants you for. |
I guess the Brickster was no match for you, Pepper. |
Pepper's back and he's saved us all, hooray! |
You tackled that very well, Pepper. |
LEGO Island won't be the same without you, so don't go. |
Now you can kick back and enjoy yourself here on the Island. |
Don't be a stranger, Pepper, and pop back to the Island often. |
Oh, before I forget, that radio is battery powered. |
These three lines were intended to be said by DJ after picking up the radio. While gathering the dancing Brickster-Bots, you would need to keep picking up batteries. Presumably, if you ran out of power, the Brickster-Bots would be able to escape until you collected more batteries. |
You may need theeeeeeeese. |
Oh sorry, Pepper, you'll have to pick those up as you go. |
Officer Nick Brick, The Pied Piper of Pizza is here with Brick-Bot |
These lines would have been said after Pepper led the Brickster-Bots to the Police Station. The lines said by the islanders still relate to this cut aspect, as they tell you to go there. In the final game, the developers adapted the unused part and made it so you would find all of the Brickster-Bots near the Police Station instead. Also, as seen here, Brickster-Bot was often shortened to Brick-Bot for the subtitles. |
Pepper, that's using music as a dangerous weapon! |
I'll arrest the radio. |
It's nice to see you again, Pepper. |
These lines would have been said during the last time you need to round up Brickster-Bots, but they are not seen due to both Mama and Papa being kidnapped by the Brickster as soon as you return from Adventurers Island. It seems like they were originally going to be kidnapped after you had beaten the Brickster-Bots, as these lines are still fully programmed to play should you make Mama and Papa visible and talk to them during each of these three sections. |
Have you been to the Radio Station yet? |
It's good to see you, Pepper. |
It's fun going to the Radio Station. |
Ciao Pepper, nice stereo. |
Take them to the Police Station. |
Bonjourno, Pepper. |
Time to go back to the Police Station. |
Hello Bambino. |
You must go to the Space Port, Pepper. |
Hi Pepper, how is my best delivery boy today? |
I think you should go to the Space Port. |
Castle Island#
To do: |
Castle Island has many repeated subtitles as leftovers from the PC version, which is due to multiple characters sharing the same two voice lines. As this is not the case with the PlayStation version, these have been omitted to prevent repetition, only the lines that are completely unused are shown here.

Hooray, Pepper, Pepper! Now let's fight! |
Though this subtitle does display, the voice clip for it differs. See Todo. |
Sign me up, I'll do it! |
This line is placed just after Pepper talks about how he has never jousted before. |
Aha, almost got it! |
This line is placed after the knight talks about the dark knight having a cold or something. |
Without the bridge we're in for the chop. |
These lines are said by a knight who is set to not be visible when you first arrive, but is visible later on. Ironically, you have to hack the game to make him visible, then you can speak to him. |
If only we could hack into the game. |
My job is to charge in the face of the enemy. |
These lines are for the cut Cavalry Knight, who would have said these before Brick Dive. |
Will you charge for repairing the bridge? |
Congratulations Pepper, you have bridged a great divide between our people. |
These lines are for the cut Cavalry Knight, who would have said these after Brick Dive. |
Now I must divide and conquer |
I think I should learn to repair bridges. |
These lines are for the Dark Knight, who would have said these after Brick Dive. He cannot be found on the island to speak to in the final game. |
I think I'll join Knight School. |
My horse can jump higher than a house. |
These lines are for the cut Cavalry Knight, who would have said these when you get the horse. |
Tricked you, houses can't jump! |
You'll never be able to teach your horse to dance. |
These lines are for the Dark Knight, who would have said these when you get the horse. |
He's got two left feet. Hmphhhh. |
It has taken me years of training to be a match for the Dark Knight. |
These lines are for the cut Cavalry Knight, who would have said these before Jousted. |
If you defeat the Dark Knight I will forever be at your service. |
You must defeat the Dark Knight if you want the Bulls' flag. |
These lines are for the cut Lions Guard, who would have said these before Jousted. He is seen only during a cutscene, where an existing character temporarily takes his place. |
You are truly a brave knight if you are to challenge him. |
You will never beat the Dark Knight, unless it's a dark night. |
These lines are for the cut Bulls Guard, who would have said these before Jousted. The same as above is true for the Bulls Guard. |
Let's hope it goes dark soon, I kinda liked our flag. |
How long's a piece of string? |
This line went unused as the voice lines before and after this are already quite long. |
How did you find the Joust? |
These lines are for the cut Cavalry Knight, who would have said these after Jousted. Line two was scripted as part of the first line, but the voice line and subtitle are stored separately. |
Exciting, isn't it? |
I'm looking forward to the next Jousting contest! |
Sorry Pepper. You cannot enter. |
These lines are for the cut Bulls Guard, who would have said these before returning the Bulls' flag. These suggest you once had to pick up the flag, so these lines would be for going there without it. |
Halt, no entry! |
Perhaps we will Joust one day, Pepper. |
These lines are for the cut Cavalry Knight, who would have said these after Raging Bull. |
Once you've been through Knight School. |
I'm sorry, Pepper, Cedric will accept no visitors. |
These lines are for the cut Bulls Guard, who would have said these after Raging Bull. |
No entry, I'm afraid. |

But I'm afraid you can't land that shuttle, you're going to have to eject and parachute down to OGEL.. |
What? Why? |

Well... it seems the Brickster has stolen the landing gear, and there's no other way but to jump! |

OK, Bob. Good job I did that parachute training, huh? |

Hmmm, cannons. They look useful. |

Oww, that's not fair! I should be the only person with cannons here... humph! |
Have a taste of your own medicine, Cedric. |
Pepper has a hat trick, YES! |
If you strike me down, Cedric, I shall just come back more powerful then you could possibly imagine. |

I told you. |

See - a mummy's curse is just in your mind. It isn't real. |

You're too powerful for my curses, Pepper. |

Good work, Pepper - go and talk to the Fisherman. I think you can help each other. |
This line implies you were originally going to meet the Old Fisherman in the open, as this is the only time the Infomaniac talks to you via the hologram. |
Hey, Sonny. |
The name's Pepper, Pops. |
My name's The Old Fisherman, sonny. |
I'll bet you're here 'cause you're lookin' for a page. |
This subtitle has an erroneous space at the start in the files. |
How did you know? |
I've played this game before. |
You see, that big ol' fish at the bottom of the Oasis ate it up. |
Yup, Big Bertha ate it up real good. |
Ate it up like a sandwich, she did. |
Gulp, gulp, gone! |
Well I figured you could use the page, so I fished it out with my pole. |
Interestingly, the lines where the Old Fisherman lends you his fishing rod are not present, despite all of the other lines being here. It is possible these lines were recorded for an alternative way of this minigame working with the more limited PlayStation, before it was cut entirely. |
Here Pepper, here's the next page! |
Hoo-ray, I got it - the page! |
And you also got Big Bertha, that makes you a champion fisherman around these parts! |
The page is my real reward, Old Fisherman, but thanks! Gotta go! |
Wait, I was going to make fish cakes. |
Er, gotta go, bye! |
Wow, finished already! I blinked and missed it, and there isn't an action replay. |
All of these lines do not have the required double space before the string, which would have meant that every first letter would not display. This exact issue occurs in the final North American version where "EGO Island" is displayed in the Information Center Database instead of "LEGO Island". |
Give a man a fish and he won't go hungry today, teach a man to fish and he will never go hungry. |
Looks like you will never go hungry, Pepper. |
Tricky fish; that Bertha, but you outsmarted her in the end. |
Ah the delights of fishing, you can sit around all day. |
Fancy another go? |
Minnow, and not very big at that! Throw it back in. |
Lot of minnows about today. |
Mmmmm, Perch - lovely! Bake, grill or fry; delicious however you cook it. |
No, I'm a minnow really! Throw me back in. Please! |
Ooh, that's a Barb; quite rare, so you better put it back. |
Impressive! catfishes are bottom dwellers - needs a bit o' work to hook them. |

Land safely on the target to prepare for emergency measures during space flight. |
Well done, Pepper, I could barely watch. |
I'm so scared of heights, but your competence reassured me enough that I could see your excellent drop. |
You're a very good parachutist, Pepper. |
Or so Technician Bob assures me - I wasn't watching much of your plummet, because heights terrify me so much. |
Is it over yet? |
Oh good, Pepper. You're all in one piece I see, so that means you can parachute. |
You wouldn't catch me doing that, heights scare me so much. |
Thank goodness you're down safely, Pepper. |
Technician Bob believes that with a bit more practice you'll soon be perfectly accurate. |
I'm just watching you and I'm terrified, but then I have very bad vertigo. |
You must keep watching your progress: the ground can come up pretty fast! |
You're drifting off course, Pepper. Can you correct it? |
Looking good there, Pepper. |

Looks like all of that parachute practice Technician Bob insisted on paid off very well there, Pepper. |

I think I had my eyes open for most of it. |

I don't know how you managed that, Pepper. |
An emergency parachute landing on to hostile OGEL is more then any poor LEGO piece should endure. |
Pepper... I'm speechless! What I watched was utterly terrifying. |
Pepper, you're going to be okay. |
Technician Bob will be able to retrieve you and you can make another landing attempt on OGEL. |

Cedric The Bull, Pepper approaching. |
These lines are from a cut aspect of this minigame where Cedric The Bull and Mr. Hates would be shooting at Pepper while flying through the asteroid belt. |
What do you mean, Pepper approaching? |

In a LEGO Space Shuttle. |

Fire all weapons, dispatch the Fish Ship to bring back his body. |
