Unused Graphics#

While the game has a HUD, there's no way to actually up your score and collectable count above 0 or have more than 2 lives, leaving the rest of the numbers unused.

Unused Music#

This needs some investigation. Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page. Specifically: The used song is known to be a MIDI of a Detective Conan song. Find if these other tracks are also taken from elsewhere.

The game has 3 unused songs. Only song ID 001 is used, and plays in every level.

Unused Song Notes#

This needs some investigation. Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page. Specifically: Try to get agbplay to work with this game, as it is much more accurate than MIDI conversions. It crashes when trying to read the ROM.

All the songs have note data that in-game doesn't play or is silent, leaving them unheard unless converted to MIDI and heard through a MIDI player. Song 002 tries to play instrument 080, which doesn't exist in the game's soundbank as it only goes up to 77. The recording replaces it with instrument ID 00.

Unused Instruments#

The game's soundbank features a robust amount of instrument samples for the music, but only 4 of them, located at 0x14a0f0 (Piano), 0x165aec (Santur), 0x1860a0 (Contrabass) and 0x1ad44c (Synth Brass) respectively are used. None of these instruments have loop points or any other metadata, such as root keys, which they all default to 60.
