Kether

To do:
Create a prerelease section for https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B96L9jU2hjo&t=786s this video from the Summer CES in 1993. Segment starts at 9:45, but actual gameplay starts at like 10:40 because you watch the guy put the game in first. There's definitely some differences there, but I don't have enough knowledge of the game to do it myself

If you liked the asteroid field scene from The Empire Strikes Back, then you'll absolutely love Kether.

Version Info#

The abstract and bibliographic files' header contains the game's version number.

Europe (original)

Germany (original)

KETHER
PHILIPS INTERACTIVE MEDIA FRANCE - INFOGRAMES
VERSION  3.12

For whatever reason, the original European/German abstract files list the version number as 3.08 instead of 3.09.

Revisional Differences#

This needs some investigation.
Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page.
Specifically: What was changed in the European executable?

Both the European and German versions of Kether had a revision that was released later on in 1994, labeled Version 3.11. The changes made in both versions were minimal; the European revision removed some data from cdi_appl and updated the abstract and bibliographic files' version numbers. The German version only updated the version numbers, and left the rest of the files unchanged.
