Iron Blood

To do:
Track down prerelease screenshots. There's some interesting changes compared to the final game.

Originally known as Interrupt: Blood Signal in Korea, Iron Blood is a video game with mechs... except it has 3 different gameplay styles in one single package. Noteworthy for being the first video game by the company to actually come out in the US.

Debug Printouts#

A couple printout statements can be found within the stage executables. For example, this can be found in STAGE1.EXE for Iron Blood at 0x158BF.

Regional Differences

To do:
Document the rest of the regional differences, such as the removed animated cutscenes that were present in the Korean original, the difference in voice clips between the two languages, and the music that ends up unused in the US version.

Title Screen#

US

The game was renamed to "Iron Blood" in the US, and consolidates the game's name to just the main logo, dropping the subtitle drawn in graffiti. As a result of the freed up space, the logo gained a drop shadow, new cracks were added to the background and existing ones were moved around, and the silhouettes of the playable robots were partially redrawn. The copyright text was updated from the erroneous 1994 date to 1995(6) (formatted as such due to both dates not fitting within the same line), and the menu was made open by default in the US version, whereas a key press is required in the Korean original.
