Ikaruga is a bullet hell shoot 'em up and spiritual successor to Radiant Silvergun. It has made quite the name for itself over the years, being one of the more popular games in its genre. The game's defining trait is the ability to change the polarity of the player's ship which, among other factors, determines if either black projectiles hurt you and white projectiles get absorbed for a special attack, or the other way around.
