Located at the start of the cartridge's ROM is this copyright string that also contains a build month, which is also written to SRAM as an integrity check at bootup. If there is a mismatch when writing to SRAM at $306000, the game deletes all save data. Despite being mentioned in Super Famicom Nintendo documentation at the time as containing anti-piracy measures, the game appears to have no innate anti-piracy checks.
