Sound Test#

• The border around the text in the Japanese version was made slightly bigger to let the text breathe in the English version.
• "Halken" in the Japanese version was changed to "HAI" in the English version.
• The English version has a slightly altered font compared to the Japanese version.
• The song Oh My God! in the Japanese version was renamed to Oh My My! in the English version.

Caddies#

The Japanese version features four caddies (one per player) who give you brief bits of advice on the hole information screen. You can change these caddies to a second, anime-like set through a hidden cheat:

Enter じえいず as your player name when starting a new game. The game will prompt you to enter your name a second time; this time, enter きゃＰ！. Finally, you will be prompted a third time; this time, enter your actual player name.

Amusingly, one of the alternate caddies is Lala.

The English version, which allows for longer player names, checks for the single string "ANOTHER" instead. However, the English version removes the advice feature entirely, so this doesn't actually do anything (though you will still be prompted to enter your name a second time).
