Double Strike

Double Strike, or as it was originally known, Twin Eagle, is a low-grade 1989 NES shooter which should not be confused with the similarly low-grade, licensed 1989 NES shooter of the same name.

Regional Differences#

Taiwan

Asia/Australia

USA

This game was originally released in Taiwan as Shuāng Yīng by Joy Van. Sachen translated the title to Twin Eagle and released it in the rest of Asia, with this version being published by HES in Australia. The logo on this version is noticeably smaller and less detailed.

AVE localized the game for the US under the title Double Strike: Aerial Attack Force. The title screen was changed entirely for this version and now features a somewhat Freudian logo. This version was also released in Australia on the Maxi 15 multicart.
