Donkey Kong 5: The journey of over incorrect grammar, also known as a poor clone of Super Mario Bros. Deluxe. The game also "borrows" music from Pokémon Pinball. Are you a bad enough dude to defeat The Lombado (Bowser) and save Sodoma (Peach)?

Unused Graphics#

An unused hexadecimal font.

These three Chinese characters (主 zhǔ, "master", 技 jì, "skill", and 効 xiào, "efficacy") are used as filler graphics.

Unused Levels#

To do:
Put the Level IDs on a Notes page.

Normally, the game ends after World 5-4, but Worlds 6 to 8 from the original game are present in the ROM. Use Gameshark code 01??60C2 (where "??" is the level ID) to access them.

Version Differences#

To do:
Document the official Chinese and German versions (when the latter eventually gets dumped), as well as Harry Boy and Digitmon Sapphire.

For some reason, Sintax thought it would be a good idea to re-release this game as Super Marrio Sunshine. This version changes the title screen and introduces a strange bug: touching a flagpole anywhere except for the very bottom will result in an instant game over. Other than that, the game remains unchanged.
