Delta (released as Delta Patrol in the States) is a fairly well-known shoot 'em up for the Commodore 64, thanks to its fluid graphics, as well as its soundtrack, composed by Rob Hubbard of Sanxion fame. Be sure to collect the right extras!
Unused Sounds#
The game's audio data contains several unused sounds which were meant to be played upon doing certain actions, such as collecting certain items, losing a life, or getting a game over. The first five unused sounds are based on the loader theme, Thalamusik, and the last five are based on Prokofiev's Montagues and Capulets, which were both tunes previously heard in Sanxion.
