Dark Seed (NES)

This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

The NES Dark Seed is an awful but somewhat ambitious port of the DOS point-and-click adventure. Aside from having one short-looping song throughout the whole game, a severely decreased color palette, and the absence of an entire puzzle, it's mostly accurate to the DOS original.

Oddities#

  • The ending appears to be broken, as the librarian who talks to Mike Dawson at the end of the game repeats the same text infinitely.
  • Pressing the Start button 13 times in one sitting kills Mike. This usually forces the player to restart the game, though this sometimes only makes Mike to go sleep.
