This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion. |
Before CD Projekt's Cyberpunk 2077, there was CyberPunk: The Arasaka's Plot, originally developed as a pitch for a Flashback: The Quest for Identity game for cell phones, only to be retooled into a Cyberpunk 2020 franchise game because Mayhem Studio wasn't able to figure out who owned the rights to Flashback. It still worked out pretty okay for them in the long run.
(Note that while the game is commonly referred to as "Cyberpunk: The Arasaka's Plot", the title of the game in all versions when installing it onto an actual cell phone or peeking into the MANIFEST.MF file is in fact capitalized as "CyberPunk".)

Unused Graphics#
Bizarrely, all preserved device releases for version 1.5.1 of the game (five Russian versions and one ad-supported English version from Nokia Ovi Store) contain a variation of the "Show" logo used by the South Korean carrier KTF as the file smslogo.png. There are three size variations of the graphic across the versions (the high-res version is shown above), but seemingly no reason for it to appear in the preserved versions, with little to no details about a Korean release of the game having been documented either.
