The NES Chiller is a toned-down, unlicensed port of an incredibly-violent light-gun arcade game.
CRC Test#
The Australian version contains some hidden copyrights and a test screen accessible by holding Up + A + Select and pressing Reset. This screen will show you whether you're using an Australian ("PAL MODE") or North American ("NTSC MODE") console, along with a PRG checksum and a version build date.
The US version has no such routines or text, though present among the normal game's strings are three unused pieces of text: "BY", "CHRISTOPHER", and "ERHARDT".
