Cadash for the Genesis is a port of the arcade platform-RPG of the same name.

Curiously, it was one of the only non-Sega-published games on the system to receive an official Asian release (which excluded Japan, funnily enough).

Free Play#

When PRESS START BUTTON is displayed on the title screen, press Up, Down, C, A, Left, Right, B, C. After the code is entered, a sound effect confirms success and the game is set to Free Play.

This mode gives you infinite credits, allowing you to continuously restart at the point you died.

Debug Menu#

Starting at address $006C18 is program code for a debug menu. It was likely loaded at the title screen as it contains the new game setup (number of players, etc.) and automatically assigns AAA as the initials for Player 1 and BBB as the initials for Player 2, instead of using the name screen.

A set of game enhancer codes is required to load it when beginning a new game:

Game Genie

Master Code / Must Be On
(if codes are active when the game boots)
