Originally scheduled to be released by Enix in March of 1996 under the title “Legend of the Magatama” (Japanese: 勾玉伝説), but those plans fell through.
Unused Items#
There is normally room for 12 entries on the item screen. However, four more unused items can be obtained, fully working. The first two are unused Medium variants of other items obtainable normally in Small and Large sizes.
The item in the first slot of the inventory uses the memory addresses 7EF55E (Item ID) and 7EF560 (Quantity).
- きずぐすり中 (Medium Ointment, ID: 02): Recovers 50 HP.
- きりょくがん中 (Medium Energy Circle, ID: 0D): Recovers 64 Energy points.
- ばくれつそう (Explosive Herb, ID: 10): Causes 15 points of damage to all enemies.
- かんしゃくたま (Temper Ball): Explodes after 3 turns.
